The ultimate philosophy for our therapeutic/clinical services component is predicated on the total preservation the family unit and the importance of keeping this unit intact by providing quality services for the identified client and their parents and/or care givers. Our primary purpose is to provide quality client services to identified at-risk clients and their families. Our services delivery shall be designed to strengthen the client’s everyday skills set and preserve the family unit, thus allowing clients to remain in the home as well as their community.  Ultimately, we strive to educate, expose, strengthen, reunite and preserve the just the client but also the core family, while helping families develop appropriate boundaries and decreasing inappropriate behaviors. To help with this process our staff shall intervene in the school setting (if applicable), community, home when and where needed, while providing ongoing structure and support to the entire family. We shall also strive to empower and educate families how to successfully utilize community and internal resources to achieve positive results. 

 

Our MHSB program provides the structure, support and the client clinical services needed through both group and client sessions to meet the needs of at-risk clients and their families while helping them deal with the risk factors within their family, community, employment and school.
